Ahhhhhhhhh
Right out there by the hammock was where I began my morning ... listening to the waves, watching all those enthuisastic walkers and bikers .... putting on my headphones and going on a shamanic journey. Awesome!
This is my father at his place of business. Every house we rent the first thing we have to do is find the "perfect" place for him to set up office. I put perfect in quotes because there really is no such thing. I haven't heard what is wrong with this space yet, but I suspect when the house is full of people he will say it is too public. Right now there are just three of us, and as you can tell from this cavernous room, quite spacious. We actually get lost. This morning when I came in from the beach my father said my mother had left. He'd gone looking for her in the house and couldn't find her. I was a little surprised when she came out on the deck in a towel, fresh from a bath. There is a lot of "just right" going on. By that, I mean, we are still trying to find the right bathroom, the right bedroom, that type of thing. The first night I started in one bedroom and then ended in another! You know, just to see which one I liked better! And because I could. My mother did not take a bath in her bathroom, she tried out another! It actually took me a few days to recover from the three day drive down here! Not because it was hard, but I kept wondering why I was so tired -- and concluded it must have been due to that! We took several trips out of our way -- spending the first night in Atlantic City and then the second in Raleigh, North Carolina. Sometimes it is nice to spend the night in a place, versus in a boring hotel on the side of the same highway you've been on all day. Raleigh was beautiful and the next morning I googled around and found a decent store to buy decent food for our lunch in the car and then our dinner once we arrived at the house. That sure made life easy -- not having to worry about food after driving all day and then unloading the car. Good idea, Lisa.
The weather is beautiful, but I was also told it is unseasonably warm at home as well. Which is good because we all need a break from repetitive snow storms!

Hilton Head here we come!
Oh the woes I have with posting pictures to blogspot.
I am seriously considering looking for another place
to have my blog -- it is absolutely painful how much
time I spend trying to load pictures. Sometimes

I am seriously considering looking for another place
to have my blog -- it is absolutely painful how much
time I spend trying to load pictures. Sometimes
it goes seamlessly, and other times I just
keep trying and trying and trying. I tried a new site,
Photobucket.com, and nope, now I have ended up with a
slideshow instead of pictures that I could comment on.
FRUSTRATING!
What I wanted to happily chirp about was that I am
preparing to leave for Hilton Head Island on Friday,
and so I was perusing my pictures from last year,
you know, to get in the mood! Not that I really
have to try all that hard, because we seem to be
stuck in a snowstorm winter and while I love
snow, I am pretty happy about sunshine and
beaches right now! Last night we had a
crazy thunderstorm and hail and rain
coming down so hard and fast it was freaky.
Super freaky.
So my parents and I are loading up the car
on Friday night and heading off early for
our three day drive down.
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
